Chat 2 Pay

As part of the configuration of this extension, you require the details obtained from Cybersource. Ensure you have configured this first.
Chat 2 Pay enables you to send a payment request to your customers via an SMS or WhatsApp message (see here for an example).
Your customer clicks on the URL embedded in the message to open a secure payment page where they can add a new or use a saved credit/debit card. This card is then used when you process their payments via your payment processor/gateway.
You can trigger a payment request to your customers in the following ways:
Clickatell's Chat Desk and/or Chat Flow: Send payment requests to your customers via assisted (Chat Desk) or unassisted chat (Chat Flow).
With Chat Desk, your agents can send the request directly to the customer while engaging with them from within the Agent Desk.
In Chat Flow, a flow-builder can drag and drop a Chat 2 Pay node into their flows so that the chatbot automatically triggers the payment request when a customer reaches that step.
Direct integration into Clickatell’s Chat 2 Pay API: Integrate any 3rd-party (i.e., non-Clickatell) application directly into our Chat 2 Pay APIs to trigger payment requests to your customers.
A 3rd party CRM/OMS extension: Embed a Chat 2 Pay “extension” into your Salesforce CRM/OMS to allow a call center agent to trigger the payment request.
Chat 2 Pay currently supports the following systems:
Assisted chat: Chat Desk
Unassisted chat: Chat Flow
3rd party applications: Direct API integration
CRM/OMS: Salesforce
Payment Processor/Gateway: Cybersource
To start using this service, you must complete these steps:
Activate Chat 2 Pay on your account.
Configure your Chat 2 Pay details.
Link a channel, product (Chat Flow or Chat Desk), and/or an application via API.
