Adding Embedded Client Authentication

Configure OpenID Connect in your Clickatell account and allow your customers to authenticate themselves securely against your identity provider so that they can access secure services specific to them from your internal platforms.

Embedded Client Authentication is supported on Chat Flow and Chat Desk via these channels:

  • SMS

  • WhatsApp

Navigate to Products & Services -> Products -> Embedded Client Authentication.

Click '+Activate product'.

This adds Embedded Client Authentication as a product on the My Workspace tab.

On the My Workspace tab, select the Embedded Client Authentication card.

From here you can:

  • Add and configure new Identity Providers

  • Edit/manage your existing Identity Providers

  • Disable/enable/delete Identity Providers
