Account Management

Account Management is used to manage the accounts that are available in CCM.

CCM uses accounts to provide separation of data, i.e. data loaded when a user is logged into one account cannot be seen when logged into another accounts. As such, its main use is to provide a client with a multitude of separate CCM areas where users from different business units (that must not see each other’s data) can each use the full CCM functionality.

Further features of accounts:

  • Each account can be billed separately if they use separate cost centers

  • Users can have access to multiple accounts

  • MO numbers can be shared among accounts

  • You can create extra accounts (if you have the correct access details)

Cost centers are set up by your Technical Account Manager and denote the different categories that your messages can be divided into when you are billed. All cost centers can be billed separately. If an account needs to be billed separately, please ensure that it uses a unique cost center.

MO numbers are setup by your Technical Account Manager and provide you with a short or long code number that will allow you to receive SMS messages via CCM.

To access these features, navigate to User Management --> Account Management.

This opens a screen listing all your accounts and their details.

To add a new account, click Add Account and enter the following information:

  • Account name

  • Select:

    • The MO number (Note: Should you not have an active two-way number, a default number will be used. This number is not activated to receive SMS messages or allow replies on SMS messages. To have an activated MO number please contact your Technical Account Manager)

    • The cost center that will be billed for all costs incurred by this account

    • The custom columns that will be used in this account

  • Indicate if the account can only send during office hours. If this is selected, campaigns can only be sent from 10h00 to 17h00 on weekdays. Sending during public holidays will also be blocked.

The available MO numbers, cost centers and custom columns are set up by your Technical Account Manager. Please contact him/her if you need any of these options amended.

After an account has been set up it can be edited and deleted.

Manage Unmatched

If multiple accounts use the same MO number, one account will receive all the messages that do not contain keywords. Manage Unmatched allows you to choose which account this should be.

Custom Columns

In addition to the phone number that is used in all campaigns and phonebooks, CCM can also be set up to have additional columns available (e.g. Name, Surname, Account Number, etc.). Ten custom columns are available on a per account basis (i.e. each account can use different custom columns).

The type and amount of custom columns that is used in your version of CCM will be set up by your Technical Account Manager after consultation with you.
