Manage sending of campaign messages

After a new campaign has been created (see previous sections of this guide) use the Manage Send button to navigate to a new screen where sending and message recipients can be managed.

Approve send

Before a campaign can be sent it needs to be approved. Only users that were granted the ability to approve campaigns for sending will be able to do so. Users without this permission will have to contact their designated supervisor to approve the campaign for them.

To approve the campaign click Approve to Send. This campaign will then be approved and can be sent.

Send bulk

This is used to send the campaign to the intended recipients.

Click Send Bulk SMS.

You can select one of three options:

  • Send now – the message is sent immediately

  • Do not send/Cancel future send – cancel a campaign that was scheduled to be sent on a future date

  • Schedule future send – enter a time and date when the campaign will automatically be sent

View sent messages

For a summary of all your sent messages, navigate to the campaign details pages (Send SMS --> Send SMS Campaign). Click on Delivery Report.

After a campaign was sent the actual time that each message was sent will be listed next to the message. In addition, the time that the message was delivered to the recipient will also be listed.

You can also filter the results according to date and extract the information as a CSV file.
