# Getting started with Clickatell AI

Follow the steps below to get up and running with Clickatell AI quickly. Find more details in the [Clickatell AI User Guide](https://guides.clickatell.com/clickatell-ai-user-guide).

1. If you've opted for the [Clickatell AI upgrade](https://www.clickatell.com/products/artificial-intelligence/), Clickatell will activate the application and make it available in your Clickatell Portal.
2. [Launch](https://ai-portal.clickatell.com/) the Clickatell AI portal. 
   1. Also accessible via *My Workspace* in the Clickatell User Portal. 
3. [Set up and configure](https://guides.clickatell.com/clickatell-ai-user-guide/assistants/set-up-your-assistants) your assistants.
4. [Train assistants](https://guides.clickatell.com/clickatell-ai-user-guide/training/upload-and-manage-documents) on specific information (upload and sync documents).
5. [Configure intents](https://guides.clickatell.com/clickatell-ai-user-guide/training/configure-intents) to link to [Intent Recognition assistants](https://guides.clickatell.com/clickatell-ai-user-guide/assistants/set-up-your-assistants#add-assistants) *(optional)*,
6. Create [curated responses](https://guides.clickatell.com/clickatell-ai-user-guide/training/create-curated-responses) *(optional)*.
7. Use with Clickatell's [Chat Desk](https://guides.clickatell.com/chat-desk/agent-desk/agent-assistant) and [Chat Flow](https://guides.clickatell.com/flow/user-facing-nodes/product-nodes/clickatell-ai-node) applications.
