What is 10DLC?

10-digit long code (10DLC) is the new industry-led long code solution for North American application-to-person (A2P) business messaging utilizing a 10-digit phone number.

10DLC registration applies to all businesses that use US long numbers to send and receive messages.

Clickatell assists you in gathering the required registration information for your application and submitting it to the Campaign Registry for carrier approval.

Once both a brand and campaign have been approved, long numbers associated with it can be used to send and receive messages with the benefits of the 10DLC-sanctioned environment for A2P messaging.

The Campaign Registry guidelines require users to follow industry best practices according to the CTIA.

To register your US long number on 10DLC:

1. Register a brand and pay a brand registration fee.

2. Register one or more campaigns for your brand and pay a campaign registration fee.

3. Link a US long number to your campaign.
